This performance was a real challenge. We had to figure a way to get three people produce visuals and composite them into a single and unique canvas (with each other staying at home !).<\/p>\n

While Oria was producing the music on her computer (interpreting the data she was gathering from her plants) and controlling her visuals (which were generated remotely on my computer and controlled by Oria with OSC). Jonathan was sending me visuals he creates with Unity through NDI. All of the visuals are audio reactive and were designed beforehand. On my side I was compositing between our 3 visuals, adding effects and making transitions to suit the music I was hearing.<\/p>\n

Cette performance a \u00e9t\u00e9 un vrai challenge. Nous devions trouver un moyen pour que trois personnes puissent cr\u00e9er des visuels et les compositer ensemble simultan\u00e9ment (tout en restant chacun chez soi !).<\/p>\n

Alors qu’Oria produisait la musique depuis son ordinateur (en interpr\u00e9tant les donn\u00e9es qu’elle recevait de ses plantes) et controllait ses propres visuels (qui \u00e9taient g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s depuis mon ordinateur et qu’elle pouvait contr\u00f4ler en OSC).Jonathan m’envoyait ses visuels, cr\u00e9\u00e9s avec Unity et re\u00e7us en NDI. Tous nos visuels sont audio-r\u00e9actifs et ont \u00e9t\u00e9s design\u00e9s avant la performance. De mon c\u00f4t\u00e9, je m’occupais du compositing de nos trois visuels, ajoutant des effets et cr\u00e9ant des transitions entre ces derniers pour habiller la musique.<\/p>\n

Ce sch\u00e9ma r\u00e9sume ce qu’il se passait pendant la performance, notamment en terme de flux de donn\u00e9es.
